4.23. Unarchiving a Geocache

The archiving of a geocache is intended to be a permanent status. That is why only community volunteer reviewers and Geocaching HQ staff have the capability to unarchive it. This is done only in rare circumstances and only if it meets the current Geocache Listing Guidelines.

If a geocache is archived by a reviewer or staff for lack of maintenance it will not be unarchived.

Geocache Description:

This is my first cache. The Salt Pan Creek Cycleway is an easy walk or ride for young and old alike. This track consists of paths and boardwalks and is part of a system of cycleways connecting Bankstown to Villawood following the scenic and often ignored Georges River. This part of the cycleway also leads to others in the Canterbury municipality (take the boardwalk under the M5 motorway).

There are many places to park for this cache. I prefer the one at 56 H 318571 6242065 (UTM WGS 84)as it's off the road and equidistant from both ends of the track. You can walk north and go under the M5 to Canterbury Road or go south and go under the East Hills railway line and walk to Henry Lawson Drive. BEWARE: Overhead powerlines and nearby factories may effect satellite reception.
