Cache is located a short distance from parking. Be careful in approaching the actual cache site since the terrain is somewhat rocky.
This is a replacement for the original Hogback Minners cache (GCMPZ6). The name has a double meaning since it is both the return of the cache and because the minnows have started to repopulate the creek after they were orignally wiped out by an acid spill upstream on Interstate 80. The cache has been moved off the beaten path.
Watch out for the loose rocks in the area and be careful not to grab any trees as many have thorns sticking out from the bark.
Please do not move any rocks in retrieving or replacing the cache.
