Geocache Description:

10 years ago, DaisyChain agreed to become forever Young (last name). Come join us for an event cache at the Gambrill Park Tea Room! A great way to start a day of caching in the Frederick metro area. There are a lot of nearby caches in Gambrill and Greenbrier State Parks, not to mention the City of Frederick.

This is a 10th wedding anniversary for DaisyChain and me so we would like to include our caching friends in on the day's celebration. So, please, come on out. Bring some donuts, bagels or whatever. We do have a full kitchen to use, if needed. We do have to limit our time there, though, so the 12p cutoff will be observed.

10 years ago to the day, we said our vows and have been having a great time of living, loving and being Young ever since. In 2003, we started our caching hobby together. It has brought us closer to each other even more in our journeyings and with new friends we have met. The spectrum of people involved in this hobby is amazing. It has stretched our minds in puzzling out how to find some caches and in getting to know the folks behind the hides. It has been an interesting study to see how each new contact has developed.

We have special permission from the owner of the DoC.A.R?T Moving Cache (GCD079), 26 Fe, to play a game at the event with the cache. So, bring your FRS radios and GPSr for a fun time. You WILL have to find the cache to claim it. It will then be taken after the event to it's prescribed location within 30 miles of the Washington Monument in DC or 25 miles from the nearest DC border.

We hope to see a good turnout of cachers and that the notice is not too short. Please, no gifts. Time spent with geocaching friends in celebration is the focus of this event. The pictures and memories are the things we want to take with us. Safe journey and happy hunting!
