Blackstone Gorge

Growing up in the Blackstone Valley in the early
1960's, we didn't venture too close to the Blackstone River for
fear that we would get sucked into the river and melt away from all
the chemicals that flowed in the river. Today, it is quite a
different story. Though I grew up only 10 miles north of the
Blackstone Gorge, I had never heard of it until moving south of the
border. Those that paddle the river are probably quite familiar
with this place. The purpose of this cache is to bring some of you
to a place you would otherwise miss.
Though it can't quite
compete with the Quechee Gorge in
Vermont, it is still worthy of a visit. For more information,

The cache is a metal film can.
