Housatonic River Micro
#1
This micro is to share my favorite
spot for lunch or just to enjoy the river, its a spot visited by
all kinds of animals (Heron, Red tailed Hawks, Bald Eagles, Deer,
Fox, Bobcats). You are looking for a 35mm film canister w/log
inside. Take sometime to look around while you are there. This is a
fly fish, catch and release area only (there is some big ones in
there).
If you are searching for the cache
during April 15th to Oct 15th, Saturday or Sunday… Why
not try to stop by and introduce yourself to me. I can be found
either at: 41° 50.271 N, 73° 22.783 W... or at:
41° 46.604 N, 73° 24.987 W… psst “Look for the
Ranger”
My Blog:
We share the woods and trails with a lot of different
people. Some hunters, some mountain bikers, Horseback riders, we
all have to be courteous to each other, whether or not we agree
with what they are doing in the woods. We also owe it to the lands
we all use to report any misdoings to the proper authorities
instead of turning the cheek, so we can continue to use the lands.
Finally do some research of the area you plan to use, to know what
rules and regulations there are, or activities can be done there
(ie.. Hiking, biking, hunting)
A few numbers to know in Connecticut:

usage of woods, i.e. illegal camping, fires, ATV activity)
