Geocache Description:

This cache must be approach from the south; any other direction is not legal or safe. You can NOT approach this cache from "Upper Lake Park". Winter Rating: Can be found in light snow, but not to fun when it’s icy out. The cache container is only accessible from 6am to 10pm.

This cache starts you out in downtown Port Washington, near the lake ... a little know fact is that our marina is the first man-made harbor in North America, dredged in 1870.

While the start of your walk will start you out in a not so pleasant place, you will end up on Port Washington's hidden beach. The caches is of course not right on the beach and this is where the Terrain rating of this caches comes into play.

If you like rocks, proceed about a 1/2 mile farther north after finding the cache, you can see Port Washington's famous "Mile Rock".

Don't let it throw you when the logbook has a different name for the cache on the cover, I changed my mind after hiding it.
