The listed coordinates are for the parking area. Entrance is off of Rt 20 in Northborough across from Agway, a narrow dirt driveway marked by a Carney Park sign. This is a two-part cache...

Proceed down Cold Harbor Brook Trail. You will find a plaque detailing the flood control project of 1963. You need the information from this plaque to determine the cache's coordinates. The cache is located at N 42 deg 18.yyy mins, W 71 deg 40.xxx mins.
yyy = (Drainage Area - Floodwater Retarding Storage + Height of Dam) / 2 + 97.
xxx = Volume of Fill / 1000 - 50.

Allowed uses are: hiking; mountain biking; skiing; snow shoeing; and, equestrian. Motorized vehicles such as ATV’s are not allowed on any of the Northborough trails.
A significant part of the trail I think is on state property and different rules may apply.
