If you are looking for a quiet lake, this is the place for you! It is a short walk to the cache from the nearest parking. The closest parking is in a small lot at 132nd Street and Himebaugh Ave, just north of Fort Street. It is about 0.27 mile walk from this lot along a paved trail. The cache is located about 60 feet off the trail.
New 4/24/2006!! This cache contains a card with half the coordinates to a second cache. You must find another card located in the Rare Bear cache to find the other half of the coordinates. These two cards will lead you to Bear's Lair. This is the only way to find the coordinates to Bear's Lair as the coordinates listed for that cache will only take you to the nearest parking.
2/27/06 Upadate: They have torn up the old asphalt trail in preparation for a new, concrete trail. It is still an easy walk from the closest parking, but is now all on a dirt trail.
