Family friendly multi-cache at one of the most popular hiking locations in central Connecticut. Fairly easy after a steep start, plan on at least 90 minutes for the round trip, and be sure to enjoy the views!
Park at the Talcott Mountain State Partk entrance off Rt. 185. Enjoy a nice walk up to the Heublein Tower. The place can be packed on nice October weekends, but the final cache is a bit off the high traffic area. For the first part, Look for a sign posted on a structure built to celebrate a political event. Take the last two digits of the year listed on the sign and add it to both the longitude and latitude listed below to find the coordinates of the final:
