This marker seems as if it is hidden away. The only path to it is
from the west down a dirt road. You can't get to it from the
interstate highway. You'll have to take the scenic route. Be
cautious if you try this one when the roads are wet, because this
road shows signs of ruts where the road has tried to swallow
vehicle tires and strand motorists in such a remote location.
There is a geocache that is offset from the marker. From the
posted coordinates project a waypoint to the east (farther down the
dead end). Use a bearing of 91 degrees true and a distance of 0.16
miles. The geocache is at this projection.
You are looking for a clear plastic Loc-N-Loc container.
Contents include a Sacagawea gold dollar coin, a Kansas buffalo
quarter, a Lewis-and-Clark edition buffalo nickel, a beautiful
