Geocache Description:

Welcome to Chisholm Trail Cache Series No.3 - "I Can't Drive I-135". This one is east of Valley Center, Kansas.

This geocache is part of the series of geocaches set along the Chisholm Trail. Discover the rest of these geocaches listed with Series #1 at Geocaching.com waypoint number GC19T3P.

The coordinates take you to one of the Chisholm Trail markers. This marker seems as if it is hidden away. The only path to it is from the west down a dirt road. You can't get to it from the interstate highway. You'll have to take the scenic route. Be cautious if you try this one when the roads are wet, because this road shows signs of ruts where the road has tried to swallow vehicle tires and strand motorists in such a remote location.

There is a geocache that is offset from the marker. From the posted coordinates project a waypoint to the east (farther down the dead end). Use a bearing of 91 degrees true and a distance of 0.16 miles. The geocache is at this projection.

You are looking for a clear plastic Loc-N-Loc container. Contents include a Sacagawea gold dollar coin, a Kansas buffalo quarter, a Lewis-and-Clark edition buffalo nickel, a beautiful bracelet hand crafted by the wonderful Mrs. cantuland, and other miscellaneous trade goodies.

REMEMBER:
