Kulmoen - old meetingpoint.. An
easy cache along a mainroad with historical
interrest.
Gammel fest og samlingsplass på en høyde, som nå er blitt et
krater. Grusmengdene her er dannet under istiden, da Kvernberget
(lenger sør) stengte inne en isbre som fikk en smeltekant her og
slapp fra seg all grusen den hadde tatt med seg.
Følg merking til 'Kulmoen grustak' og kjør forbi 'ØST BETONG' og
parker på Vormsund Skiklubbs lysløype start: N60 08.749 E 011

An ancient gathing and cultural place – once a hill turned to
a crater by this gravel pit. The huge amount of gravel was left by
the glacier stoppet by the rock against south (Kvernberget).
Follow the sign from Rv. 2 'Kulmoen grustak' and park at the end of
the lighted skiing path: N60 08.749 E 011 23.582.
