Geocache Description:

Please do not attempt to climb the fence to get a closer look! It is on private property and you will be arrested! A pill bottle. Parking is difficult and the hill is steep. Look both ways before crossing the street.

This is the first in a series that will highlight railroad features around Chicago.

At the posted coordinates, look north, you will see a manual turntable and a small roundhouse.

The train would drive onto the turntable, men would use the 6" x 6" wood post to position the turntable so the train could drive into any door of the roundhouse.
