Cache-tech: Greetings from Geocaching.com

I have had no contact with the cache owner since my last note and there has been no notes posted to the cache page in that time. While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other cachers from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time I don’t think we can do so any longer. Therefore, I have archived this cache.
When repairs to this cache are completed and it is time to have it reposted, it will be no problem. Just drop me a note and let me know the GC waypoint number of the cache or better yet, the URL of the cache page. You will still be able to access your cache page just as before by going to your “My Cache Page” and clicking the link (Mine) across the top and then click on this cache.

I will be more than happy to take a look at your cache again to see if it is still is within the guidelines of the Geocaching.com website for cache placement and posting.

I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute to geocaching in the past and am looking forward to seeing your cache up and running in the future.

Geocache Description:

An excellant cache to do as a family activity while visiting at Falls Lake.

To do this multicache you will visit several waypoints (all within walking distance of each other) and gather clues to solve the puzzle for the final cache location.

1. N44, 51.585 W64, 14.920
At this first waypoint you will find a speed sign. Take note of the posted speed.

2. N44, 51.613 W64, 14.807
At this second point you will be able to see a ladder on a roof. Take note of the number of rungs this ladder has.

3. N44, 51.853 W64, 14.730
At this point there will be a resort entrance sign. Note the number of words on this big brown sign.

4. N44, 51.861 W64, 14.817 At this location you should take note of the cabin number you are in front of.

5. N44, 51.836 W64, 14.887 At this point you need to take note of the number of blue roofs.

6. To start your search for the final cache you will find a path entrance here:
N44, 51.621 W64, 14.936

Use the formulas at the bottom, along with your gathered clues, to complete the missing parts of the final cache location.

C = (Sign x 2) + 1
D = Cabin Number - 20
E = Roofs + 1

Final cache is a small, clear container and is located under the double birch tree.
