Geocache Description:

The original cache has been muggled in 2009, spring of 2012 and again in the fall of 2013. So please make sure the container is well hidden again.

This cache is located in a urban forest in Red Deer. You can get to the cache from two entrances with the trail system. There is parking available at Bower Mall. Cache is located off a paved trail. During summer there is a trail through the forest. Not sure what it will be like in winter.

The container used is a medium sized rubbermaid container, with camouflage tape on it. Please make sure container is well hidden again, as this is a popular place for muggles at any time of the year.

Its seem past cachers have run into ant piles in the area. This is a forested area so please take caution.

This is traditional old school cashe, meaning that it is a container filled with stuff for trading. Cache rules are if you take something out of a container, you have to replace it with something that you brought. It seems this is not being done with this cache. This is the fun part of caching is swapping stuff in a cache. If everyone keeps taking and not giving back, there will be nothing left in the container, which is how we found it in July of 2017. Please let's continue the tradition of what caching was started as, as a treasure hunt.
