Geocache Description:

**** The coordinates have been updated on Mar 16, 2006 *****
A short drive in the country to a one-time spa resort.

This cache was originally hidden for the GAG 7 event.

This cache is within 5-10m of the posted coordinates. Stand at the posted coordinates and turn around 360 degrees. You should be able to see within your Line of Sight a Tag (LOST) marking where the cache is located. The tag is large and easier to see during the day. NCC parking is available at N45°22.482' W75°28.550'

A little bit of history on Carlsbad Springs:
The mineral springs at Russell Road and Bear Brook supported a resort spa community from the mid 19th to the mid 20th century. Guests came "to take the waters" for ailments such as rheumatism, nervousness, and digestive disorders. Local hotels supplemented spa therapy with a variety of social and recreational activities.
