This is BB's 24th cache.
Chambers Gorge is located in the Northern Flinders Ranges. It is in an area that is remote, desolate and unforgiving. The cache can be acessed by 2WD's but a lot of care and careful wheel placement will be required. Make sure you have prepared for a trip out here and that someone knows where you are.
Located at the base of Mount Chambers, Chambers Gorge is an amazing place for the adventurous and inquisitive. When we were there Sturts Desert Pea was in abundance as were Desert Hops and other outback plants.
The gorge is particularly well known for its Aboriginal art galleries carved into the walls. The Adnyamathanha people have been living in this region for many thousands of years and have significant ties to the lands in this area.
The cache has been hidden carefully to avoid disturbance by muggles. Please hide the cache as you found it.
Chambers Gorge is an excellent side trip if you are in this part of the state. It's a great spot to have lunch and spend some time wandering around to see what there is to be discovered. We hope you enjoy this special place as much as we did.
