Located in the picturesque backdrops of Lorne only a couple of Kms out is the old Timber Mill site which was established in 1878. Surrounding the Allenvale Mill are tracks which were made by the Sawmillers to make their way to the coast.
The terrain is very generous with a few inclines but could get slippery in the wetter months. You can enter the track at either the ocean carpark (S 38 33.226 E 143 58.562)or inbound near the Allenvale mill site (S 38 32.934 E 143 57.520).There is a medium walk to the cache site from either end.
The cache is a small clip top container, blue and clear, with a few oddments and log book to sign.
