This cache is located on Northern section of Block Island within the Clayhead trail system. Trailhead parking (no mopeds) is located at N41* 12.512, W71* 33.722, approximately 4 miles from either new or old harbor ferry landings.
This cache is standard ammo can containing Island theme items including, Sea Animals, Pirate Duck, Tropical Bird, Rainbow Spring, Horse, Parrot, Smile Ball, Fish Sun Glasses, Sea Animals, Tiki Lounge Shot Glass, Floating Lily, Floral Hair Comb, Pirate Flag, Shell necklace, Fish Squirters, and neon Fish. As with any New England Island, be aware of ticks and poison ivy. This should not pose a problem in locating this catch provided you stay on or near the trail. This trail system is also referred to as "The Maze" and adds an additional challenge to those opting to return from the cache using a different trail. Some trails are bordered by private property so please comply with all “Keep Out” signage.
