MikeOtt: Time to close this one. No travel bugs were left behind so someone has the bugs still asingned to this cache

How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

Sunday November 6th 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
At White Clay Creek State Park Picnic Pavillion
Just off Rt 896 north of Newark (should be easy for a geocacher to find)
Pot Luck picnic lunch at noon --say what you will bring

There will be:
Poker Run Geocaching event with 5-7 temporary caches.
Travel Bug exchange table.
Meet and Greet with all the new icon generating geo-coins.
Many other regular caches throughout the park to find.
But mostly meeting and talking with other Geocachers.

We will be using name tags to help you meet new cachers.

The event is a little late in the season, but that was done to keep down expenses since the pavillion and park fees are free starting in November. Out of state fees can be steep. Only in Delaware can you have people come from three other states and drive under 25 miles. Sunday is the only day of the week that there is not hunting in the park.

Charcoal grill will be available for cooking. MikeOtt will provide charcoal and cooking utensils

UPDATE ON POKER RUN It will be about a 1.2 mile loop to go find six caches that each hold sealed envelope with a playing card. You can start and finish this cache any time. Plan was that after lunch everybody opens envelopes (no card trading allowed) to see who has the winning hand after the common "river card" is drawn. For the winning hand I am donating a new unactivated Maryland geocoin.
