Geocache Description:

You are looking for a waterproof match container that is painted to blend with its surroundings.
Bring yer own writin' stick!

U.S. Route 66 is affectionately called the "Mother Road." It went from Chicago to Los Angeles. It was the subject of a TV show and a popular song, "Get Your Kicks On Route 66." The highway has been decommissioned and now, in Western Oklahoma, it is replaced by Interstate 40. In most places I-40 was built right over the old road. However, in some places you can still see the old road. Let's go see it!!

For more information on Route 66, please go to Route 66, Enjoy the Ride!

Here the old road serves as a local frontage road for I-40.
