In K-country, where eagles soar.
Park your butt and binoculars at N50*56.631' W115*08.262' and watch the Eagle Highway. The Golden Eagles migrate every March (going North) and October (going South). The peak times are mid-month, mid-day, when birds ride the thermal updrafts.
In 1993, Peter Sherrington counted 4,599 Golden Eagles migrating South. The eagles cannot be seen with the naked eye, so bring binoculars or spotting scopes. On a good day, you could see 250 eagles. (www.eaglewatch.ca)
The cache is located near the prime viewing spot (Hay Meadow), off in slightly better cover. It is a camoflauged popcorn tin with various goodies, including a FTF card and !prize!. Please be sure to rehide the cache well (don't get lazy...).
