Very easy cache which you can drive up to. Watch for the very large (but very friendly) dog from the neighboring farm.
This is the Boian Marea School which is now a community hall. The original school was built in 1910 for the Romanian immigrants of the area. (Please have a look at the Boian website to read more about this historical site.)
I thought this would be a fitting place to start the "Key to Alberta's Heart" travel bug in celebration of our province's centennial. As you will note at the nearby museum, Boian also celebrated their 100th anniversary this year. I've been told that there is usually someone at the museum every day if you want a tour, but I haven't seen anyone yet.
The cache is full of key chains that I have collected over the years (some from other caches). Please exchange key chains only, if possible.
July 22/09 - stopped to check on while in the area. I had a heck of a time getting to the cache so I have moved it closer to the edge of the trees. Couldn't get a good read because of all the trees, so please follow the hint.
