In the original version of this movie, a scientist experiments and accidentally exchanges one arm and his head with that of a fly which was in the chamber.
Scientist Andre Delambre becomes obsessed with his latest invention. He has varying degrees of success with it. He eventually decides to use a human subject, himself, with tragic consequences. During the experiment, his atoms become merged with a fly, which was accidentally let into the machine. He winds up with the fly's head and one of it's arms and the fly winds up with Andre's head and arm. Eventually, Andre's wife, Helene discovers his secret and must make a decision whether to let him continue to live like that or to do the unthinkable and euthanize him to end his suffering.
However, there is one chance to save Andre. This involves what goes on at what used to be the Oakalla Prison Farm. To the public, this is now a townhome and condominium development at beautiful Deer Lake but the real truth is known only to a few. The area is frequented by persons with top secret clearance who get a glimpse of the sinister and secret projects protected by heavy security.
We have discovered there are nuclear fission experiments in the area. This is the type of experiment that may cure Andre and turn him back into a normal person again. The nuclear reactor is secretly accessible at the location noted above. This is the location you will go to.
You may turn off the reactor once you become familiar with the equipment at the experimental tower. Some experience with Nuclear Fission may be helpful, but novices may quickly learn the technical skills necessary.
