County Park with playground and restrooms near parking. Less than
.2 miles from parking to cache.
NOTE: DEER HUNTING PERMITTED IN THIS PARK!!!
No hunting should be occuring along hiking/skiing trails but you
may want to wear blaze orange anyway.
Archery hunting is allowed in this and most dane county parks at
certain times, it should be well posted at the entrance during
those times.

Be careful entering and leaving parking area, it is at a tight
corner in the road.
Nice county park with trout and bass fishing at the lake, picnic
shelters w/grills, playground equipment and restroom
facilities.
Dane County Park Permit required for cross-country skiing.
Please stay to the far sides of the trails if there is snow to
avoid messing up the trails for skiers
Dogs allowed with Dane county park permit.
Dog permits can be purchased onsite, $3/day or $20 annual. Permit
is good for all Dane county parks. Please clean up after your
dog.
Due to cross country skiing, dogs are not allowed when there is
snow on the trails.
Gas motors not permitted on lake, electric motors allowed.
Regular Ammo box well stocked.
Dane county parks special use (geo-caching) permit obtained, thanks
to Teresa with the parks deparment. Copy of permit inside the cache
container.
