This cache shows a ruin in the forest. The castle was built in the XIII-XIV century between Várpalota and Tés. The castle standed in the ascendancy of Turkish crescent.
After it the castle was empty for many years. So it became ruin approx. in the second half of XVI century.
From Várpalota follow the red “+” sign to Castle.
The cache was hidden near to the castle.
If you reach the castle, you go along to the plateau. If you reach it, follow the GPS. Attention! Look your way, there is some stones and precipitous down-hill.
At the cache point you can take some photos about the area. It is very nice panorama.
