Statistics
There were 30 caches to
find, 16 traditional (container with log)
and 14 virtual (gather information only) placed for the
event with a variety of difficulty levels. In addition to the 30
defined caches, there were three "On Air Virtuals".
Information for these caches was mentioned repeatedly on the
airwaves of WGAW- AM 1340 and WCAT- AM 700 during the
event. Bonus points were added to an individual's or team's score
if the correct answer was provided. Eleven (11) new caches were
added to the 295 pre-existing caches in the footprint. (see
map below).
Total Possible Points 885, Cache Finds (650),
First to Finds (185), Bonus (50)
It would be impossible to be the FTF on all 17 Caches. Taking this
into consideration, an "Optimum" score might be 730.
Congratulations to Team "MooseRedden", Moose-r-Us and Mredden.
