Sidewalk Savoir-Faire Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Big Doggy: This one had repeatedly gone missing and I no longer work two blocks away for the constant maintenance that it requires. I have considered archiving it for a very long time now, but was reluctant to remove it from the well balanced French Quarter cache experience. Routine landscaping seems to have been the biggest problem. When I checked this morning, the recessed section on the left was filled with soil almost to the top so my original hiding place no longer existed. I suppose I could stick a replacement into the dense foliage somewhere, but the excessive search required for retrieval doesn't work well on this type cache.

The venue was a charming one at this tiny sidewalk oasis. It was a relaxing spot in a quiet area not far from the Bourbon Street action. Thanks to all who visited. RIP Sidewalk Savoir Faire.

Geocache Description:

Weather you’re visiting from out of town or just skulking around the historic old French Quarter on a lazy afternoon, here’s a chance to use your sense of sidewalk savoir-faire. Some muggles may appear from time to time so a little savoir-stealth may be in order. This cache is located in a high muggle area, making it a poor choice for a trabel bug placement.

Face the center and reach inside the nearest, waist-high corner on your left.
