Here’s a chance to rest your brain and take a nice stroll in a pleasant botanical garden. Park your car in the visitor center lot, then head down toward the lake. As you approach the lake, let your GPSr lead you to the first cache, which is a magnetic micro (coordinates above).
The micro contains the coordinates leading to the vicinity of the final cache. Continue on your leisurely walk and enjoy the pleasant views featuring several species of waterfowl. As you approach the general area of the cache, you will find yourself under the trees and there’s no telling what kind of readings you will get on your GPSr. Well, just make the best of it, and when you find the cannonballs go about 35 steps at 120º (ESE). With any luck, you should spot the cache.
Although there’s no requirement to stop in the visitor center (where you parked the car), you may want to do so to look around and enhance your experience. Also, you may want to have mosquito repellent handy, especially for the final cache. The garden is open 9–4 every day except Christmas and New Year’s Day.
