NOTE on this cache: the trail leading to this cache has been
detoured, feel free to take the old path. It is ONLY detoured only
because it will not be mowed anymore!!
This is an honor, privilege and a good trial for future caches
in such special areas. I was asked by the Exec. Dir. of Woodland
Dunes Nature Center, if I would like to put other caches in the
Nature area {I am currently a member here}. I explained that there
was NOT one here already and the DNR does not currently {10/05}
allow caching in Natural areas.
Since this is partially a privately owned area, with some land
purchased from them by the DNR, I needed to take special care and
will be the only one allowed to do so.
Woodland Dunes is supported by private funding from its members,
private donations from individuals and organizations as well as
fund raisers. This is why the Executive Director was able to give
the go ahead.
There are strict regulations that we all need to follow in order to
make this a success. Please read them before venturing out there.
If cachers fail to respect them, ALL caches will be pulled.
