This cache is one of several designed to answer that frequent question of the cacher motorist as they drive by a scenic location, "I wonder what it's like up there ?".
This cache can be approached from several directions but the quickest route is to park at N56°18.980, W3°22.202 then follow the track down into the woods. Ignore the obvious side track to the right and instead follow the small path to the left of the pheasant pens. This soon widens out to a broad track leading south through the wood. Keep going through the woods until you encounter a new fence running straight up the hillside. Do not cross this fence but instead follow it up the hill where you will find a gate on the ridge line. After that it's easy.
