This cache is located on the Pine River Corridors.
This cache is located on the Pine River Corridors south of M-55 in Manistee County. I gave it a 3.5 terrain rating because of the road in. I wouldn't say you need a 4-wheel drive vehicle, but one with some clearance would definitely help. You can park within 200 feet of the cache providing you can get your vehicle there. I picked this spot for the view of the river. There is a bench there so feel free to sit down and take in the scenery.
Container is a camoflauged 1 lb. Folgers coffee can. My buddy and I placed this cache in a hurry so the contents are pretty much kid oriented; we will update it with better swag next time we go up. I forgot to place a FTF prize, sorry. Your prize can be the great view. This place is heavily hunted during the month of November; lots of camps sites, etc... You may want to wear orange during that time. Please be careful and have fun.
There are 3 ways to enter the Pine River Corridors that I know of. The most obvious is off of Low Bridge Road south of M-55 just East of the Pine River Bridge. From there you are on your own. Good Luck!
