Geocache Description:

The coordinates above are for a small parking area. Directions: Follow Simpson Road past what used to be "Brownsville General Hospital" down the hill to Dunlap Creek. Pull off the road to the right, just before the bridge. Be sure to bring a bright flashlight along for this one, and don't make the terrain any more difficult than listed. Please put each stage back as you found it. There is a good opportunity to perform C.I.T.O. doing this cache. Log entries with spoilers will be deleted.

STAGE 1:

N 39°59.437' W 079°53.242'

In front of you is a green steel bridge with wooden planks built by the York Bridge Company. Find the plaque with the year the bridge was built. We'll call this number ABCD. You also need to find the weight limit of the bridge (in tons). We'll call that number Wt.

E = 2Wt + A F = (A + B) - 2D G = C + D

H = 2Wt I = Ö(5(A + D) + 2Wt) J = C2

When doing the above math problems, don't forget the proper order of operations: PEMDAS (parentheses, exponents, multiplication, division, addition, subtraction). If you can't do the math, decrypt the Stage 1 hint.

STAGE 2:

N 39° 59.EFG' W 079° 53.HIJ'

At the second stage you are searching for two separate 3 digit numbers in a tupperware container. These two numbers represent the last three digits of the final cache location. This stage has a history of some glowing reviews.

STAGE 3:

N 39° 59.BOTTOM#' W 079° 53.TOP#'

The cache is a 50 cal. ammunition container and was originally stuffed with lots of goodies.

A word of warning... One of my patients told me that he and others hunt in this area. My suggestion would be to wear as much BLAZE ORANGE as possible during hunting season. Another patient told me that they stock Dunlap Creek with trout, so bring your fishing rod and bait along as well! And, as always, cache at your own risk.

My dad, aka "Pop-Pop," also came along with us (three generations) when we set this cache up. The cache was named by my son, Kevin, Jr.
