Geocache Description:

Legend has it Buttermilk Falls was named by a group of Civil War veterans who went there for a picnic when their train stopped in Homewood Junction. They toasted the falls using buttermilk and it's been known that way ever since.

Buttermilk Falls is a scenic 40 foot waterfall. It provides great photo opportunities and a chance to sit and enjoy nature. Enter on 1st Avenue but don't go too far. The immediate spots on the left are best. Parking at the church is ok according to the locals or in the small lot on the right. Then just find a path and you'll manage your way through.

Please use caution as the rocks near the falls are slippery and muddy. Best to bring along a flashlight.

It was hard to put a proper difficulty rating on this. If you look at the clue it's probably a 1 1/2. If you don't it would be at least a 3. Good luck and I hope you enjoy this one.
