A terrible crime has been committed! You are hereby summoned to
the Birchwood Grill on Saturday, November 5th at 9:00 am to assist
in solving this mystery. Come hungry, there will be a breakfast
buffet available, and come ready to find caches, as there will be
nineteen new caches available to be found and attendees will have
the first chance at finding them!
I'm also looking for some "volunteers"... It'll be easy! The
only requirement is that you need to be here right at 9:00. Please

The Aftermath...
Well, I must say the staff was a little... creative... in how
they figured the bill. Fortunately, we didn't have to leave the
three Cheese Doodles behind to wash dishes! Thanks to all those who
helped close out the bill!
I had a great time setting this event up as well as all the
caches associated with it! It's too bad the weather didn't hold up
for the whole day, but it looks as though a few groups made some
pretty good progress in knocking off several of the clues. Good
luck to everyone working to get to the final!
Thanks to everyone who showed up, whether it was the event
"regulars", new cachers from the area, the South of the Border
contingent, the big group from Ohio, or our lone visitor from
Idaho, who I didn't get to meet :(
Also, thanks to Commander Bob who took the logbook and will be
hosting the next area event. We're looking forward to it!
