This is the third in what I hope to be a long series of hides that
I place in Berkeley parks that don't have caches (and are eligible
for caches). I wanted to do some more hides; Berkeley has many
parks without caches... seemed like a good match. I am seeing a lot
of Berkeley's smaller parks, and noticing things that I might not
have seen otherwise; perhaps you hunters will appreciate this, too.
Presentation Mini-Park is a small bit of green space, situated
on the corner of the California Street Bike Boulevard, and Allston
Way. Some evenings, informal swordwork classes are held here (with
bamboo shinai). The "tot lot" play area is currently closed, and
has been for some time, sorry.
There's not a lot to this hide on its own; it serves as part of
the larger series.
Berkeley parks are open from 6am to 10pm. Please represent
responsible Geocaching, and respect the rules of the park.
There is a Sacajawea dollar for the FTF.
You may find parking for some of this series to be somewhat
challenging. I encourage you to find out how
bikeable/walkable/transit-able (most of) Berkeley's parks can be.
(The ones that are hardest to transit/walk to have the easiest
parking; funny how that works out. %-} )
FTF: SnoWake!
Congratulations!
