¡CINCO de Marzo Fiesta!
With springtime coming upon
us, it's time to shake off the cobwebs and get into the full swing
of geocaching. Thus, the Central Indiana Caching Organization
presents its March gathering to help kick off the season with five
times the fun.
Join us on Saturday, March
4, 2006, in Frankfort for lunch at the Ponderosa Steakhouse,
2301 East Wabash Street. We'll begin the fiesta around 12:30 PM and
go until about 3:30. The restaurant features an all-you-can-eat
buffet starting $5.99 + tax and the cost of beverage (with free
refills). They have several lunch specials which include steak or
chicken plus the buffet, ranging from $6.89 to $7.49. We have
reserved the banquet room for the get-together.
The weather forecast for the
Fiesta is cool but sunny conditions, very good geocaching weather.
Hence, there will be a few event caches to hunt for afterwards.
Also, there are a number of new caches that have popped up in the
area that you'll probably want to visit as well. At the event
itself, there'll be a travel bug trade table and a geocoin display
table, so feel free to bring them along.

(Note: Yes, cinco de marzo
means March 5, but that sounds more appropriate than cuatro de
marzo!)
