Geocache Description:

Though I hid it, this cache was stocked by all who attended Fall Fest IV to commemorate the great time we had.

It was a beautiful weekend; cool nights, warm, sunny days and trees turning color when sixty+ cachers gathered for a weekend of camaraderie and caching at Osage Hills State Park. We enjoyed some of the most creative caches ever seen, ate good food and gathered around the campfire at night, at least when we weren't stumbling through the woods with flashlights. A great time was had and you can read all about it in the logbook.

The cache is an ammo box hidden in a typical cache location not far off a very nice trail. If you continue along this trail, it will lead to some great sandstone bluffs looking out over a river full of fish.

The cache is stocked with Made In Oklahoma items and signature items. Please stick to the theme while trading with your signature item, something made in Oklahoma, themed to a town or attraction in Oklahoma OR, if you're from out of state, something from your home town.

This is a beautiful park with cabins, a lake, trout stream, woods and bluffs, well-maintained trails, lots of wildlife, RV and tent camping sites and clean, warm-water bathrooms. Nearby is Woolaroc Museum and buffalo ranch and the Tallgrass Prairie Preserve. There are two other caches in the park and many in nearby Bartlesville. One could easily enjoy a long family weekend in the area.
