This is a re-make of a cache that I already had in this park. There were some problems with the original, so I re-worked it and am releasing it as new.
For those who did the original Tenderfoot, feel free to find the new improved version and log it a second time. The waypoints have stayed the same, but the final cache is in a completely new and much more interesting location.
The cache is located in what was, until recently, a seldom used section of a city park. With the recent completion of a new biking/hiking trail, its popularity has greatly increased. This is a great cache to do on bike because the waypoints and the final cache are all close to the trail. The trail is mostly flat, and is paved.
The coordinates above take you to waypoint #1. There you will find the coordinates for waypoint #2 and waypoint #3.
At waypoint #2, you will find the latitude coordinates for the final cache. At waypoint #3 you will find the longitude coordinates for the final cache.
The waypoint coordinates are stamped on metal tags. The final cache is a micro about 1½ inches in diameter by ¾ inches high, and is painted to match its surroundings. It contains only a log, so bring your own pen or pencil.
I’ve included a few hints below. Hope you all enjoy.
