Geocache Description:

this is a short easy hike, just the last fex feet are a liitkle harder. You can pay $4.00 to park or walk a little more. The parikng lot closes at 8PM

This cache is part of a series of caches that are a tribute the  television program

that ran on KTVU   in the bay  area, I believe it also ran in the Sacramento area.

The program was hosted by Bob Wilkins and and featured some of the

worst horror/monster movies ever made. But Bob Wilkins also booked some of

the best guest for interviews during the movies intermission, this was so

that viewers would actually watch the features.

The classic 1954 monster movie about ants the become giants as a result of nucclear testing.

Directed by Gordon Douglas. Written by. Ted Sherdeman.

The class for the film includes:

James Whitmore as Sgt. Ben Peterson

Edmund Gwennas Dr. Harold Medford

Joan Weldon as Dr. Patricia Medford

James Arness as  FBI Agent Robert Graham

In the year of its release Them! was the biggest moneymaker for

Warer Bros. pictures .

Originally it was to be releases  to be in3D and Techniccolor,

But Jack Warner's  insecurity regarding its box-office potential.

these expensive propositions were scrapped.
