How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

Along the Walter Bean trail. It is not far from the parking lot off of Riverbend Drive. Tree coverage may be a problem at the final, so the hint is somewhat detailed.

This cache is so named because it is located just behind one of our Leash Free Dog Parks. While the fenced-in park is leash-free, the trail is not, so make sure that if your furry friend is with you, that it remains leashed while on the trails.

You can park at (N43.28.370 W80.28.445) and go across the bridge and up the hill.

Note that there are remnants of a chain link fence that had been in the cache area, so watch your step. It is out of the way and there is a direct path into the cache area once you step off the main trail. It can be a little slippery if it is wet or if there are leaves down.

The cache itself is your standard small container. I used the replacement at the site in order to check out the original container. The container was in fine condition, so it is back out and hidden again. Please replace in the manner it was originally hidden. Stay on the main trail, and approach the cache from below.
