Gruff: Thanks to Nirikina for the note on this MIA cache, seems like the only thing to do is archive it - TTFN.

I just had to come and find the Wife with the Bratty Plaid stone that I saw marked on the OS map, aren’t the names of these things brilliant!?!
I parked in front of what looked like unused gates on the east side of the road just opposite the path that goes into this side of the Balgairmuir Woods at N56° 05.470’ W04° 13.816’. Park in front a farmer’s gate at your own peril! If you can’t find anywhere better you could park at the view point about 1 km up the B822.
The walk is about a kilometre each way. To begin with the path is broad and doesn’t look very well used. You then go deeper into the woods but the path is obvious all the way. Travelling west branch north at about N56° 05.561’ W04° 14.685’ and the stone is about 80 m up the path on your right hand side.
An internet search turned up nothing for me. Anyone who can find out any history on this name could post a note for our interest, thanks.
To find the cache go into the right past a mess of old corrugated iron and after about 10 m go to the left around the back of a pine tree to find the cache hidden in a little corrugated tunnel. It’s quite a large container so larger TB’s are welcome.
