The Haunted Lane
....apart from the lane being haunted, you’ll miss all the lovely scenery.
Glen Fyne sits at the top of Loch Fyne. The road up the glen is a public footpath and leads to Ben Lui (eventually!)
Cross back over the bridge, and keep your eye out for dippers in the river. Walk up past the brewery -yes, PAST the brewery. It will still be there on the way back!!
The gate leading to the lane is at N56 16.774 W4 54.368
Don’t spend too long in the lane, and don’t stop at the old tree. If you feel a cold hand on your shoulder as you pass the tree, it’s probably your imagination.
The Haunted Lane
The cache is hidden in a hollow tree in the lane and is easy to find. At the bottom of the lane is a motte.
You will not need to go near the motte to find the cache
Deer Stalking takes place in this area, although much further up the glen than where the cache is hidden.
You might also want to visit the Loch Fyne Oyster Bar while you are so near. The Brewery now has a cafe and bar so definitely worth a visit afterwards
