Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
This Cache is overlooking the Cooks Bay Shoal, a shallow area of
water that is hazardous to boaters attempting to use the trent
severn waterway and the Holland River.
DO NOT ENTER THE TRAIL USING A VEHICLE (Unless you
have a real understanding insurance company, money to burn, or a
reason to abandon your car.. I wont stop you!) The jeep trail is
full of hazards, but can be manoeuvred by foot. I have made it here
in the spring runoff season with only a pair of rubber boots, but I
recommend you try a drier season. Do not bring your dress shoes to
this one.
This land is administered by Ducks unlimited, and despite all the
hunting posts that you will see along the trail, hunting is NOT
allowed. However, hunting is still done here quite a bit, so please
bring orange vests during hunting seasons.
