Oct. 2005 to Nov. 2015.

Cache was reported missing today so we checked on it. Someone has taken the ammo box. We searched the area and found a few of the cache's contents but the cache is gone. This is the second time this year it has been taken. Since we have moved away from the Bonner Springs area we have decided to archive the cache hoping that another geocacher decides to hide a cache in this great park.

Geocache Description:

Park is located in Bonner Springs just off the highway. It is open during daylight hours only. There is a slight hill and it is not wheelchair accessible. Cache is approximately quarter mile from the parking lot.

This was our first cache.

The park it is located in is in memory of a 10 year old who was fatally injured during a baseball game. The family donated the park to the city, which has been maintained as a nature park with a shelter house in the back portion of the park, picnic tables with grills, and playground equipment. Bring the kids and your dog and enjoy the park.

Cache disappeared and was replaced on 5/2/15. Please try to recover it in its hiding location well so the cachers that follow you can enjoy the search.

The cache is placed with the permission of the Director of the Bonner Springs Parks and Recreation Department. Cache seekers assume all risks involved in seeking this cache.
