Geocache Description:

LACOMBE LAKE

Years ago this lake used to be called Jackfish Lake and my grandfather used to fish here all the time. I also had an aunt that lived on this lakefront and one very near by. It has changed a lot since then, and I'm not even sure if there are still jackfish in it, although I did see some minnows in the water so that's a good sign. The day I placed this cache was a beautiful fall day and even met some "Newfies" that needed a little taste of water(closest they find to remind them of home). I explained my mission and they were very keen to see what's back home like this. As an update to this story, "Mylord/Mylady" are now avid geocachers as a result of this cache setup!

This is a very small waterfrontage open to the public, so please leave the hunt if muggles are close by. It helps to take Range Rd. 27-2 to get here.

PLEASE DO NOT LOOK FOR IT IF THERE ARE MUGGLES AROUND, AND REHIDE CAREFULLY, AS THIS CACHE HAS BEEN REPLACED 4X. IF THAT HAPPENS AGAIN IT WILL BECOME A MICRO. THX.

This one is now a micro
