"AIN'T DERE NO MORE" SERIES: buddy d

another dead drop, park-n-almost grab, low star difficulty and
terrain rated, poison and thorny plant free, wheel chair accessible
cache! although, during the rainy season full knobbys on your chair
might be a nice option. the first in the "ain't dere" series.
cache contains a log, a pencil and a first finders katrina
hurricane relief wristband. for those unfamiliar with mr buddy
diliberto's fame, a very brief description and reason for this
placement follows: buddy was a local sports anchor indeed, BLESSED,
with a speech impediment. an actual term for his colloquialisms
"dilibonics" evolved into every day use in the new orleans area!
anyway, i run audubon quite often and during today's run as i
passed this location i thought of one of buddy's famous (to me)
sign-off's. he, at one time, worked with a weatherman named louie
delapierre and would often introduce him this way: "ok folks, nuff
bout dem loozar saints, its now time for wooie wit de weador." ONLY
IN NEW ORLEANS and, UNFORTUNATELY, it just "ain't dere no more".
enjoy. more about buddy here:http://www.wwltv.com/sports/buddyd.htm
