This cache is situated on Swampy Spur above the Leith Saddle, north of Dunedin. The excellent book 'From Sea to Silverpeaks' by G Bishop and A Hamel lists a number of options for accessing the area. The most direct route involves parking at Leith Saddle at S 45° 47.988' E 170° 30.969' and accessing the Leith Saddle Track just along the road. This track will lead you to the cache location
