Geocache Description:

The first and only remaining in a former series of caches along the New Haven train line

This cache was the first of a series of caches that were hidden along the commuter train line from Grand Central Terminal to New Haven. The 3 other caches officially in the series (all by different hiders) on the NY side of the line no longer exist (an unrelated attempt was made to do a similar concept on the CT side of the line, only this now archived cache in Greenwich was created: Next Stop: Greenwich (GC15MCP) by Vasaturn and RRGLCAG). The object was to find locations within 1/4 mile of the train station where the geocacher can get a bite to eat, a cup of coffee or just look around. This one, the only one remaining in the series, is located in Pelham and has all of the above available within a few blocks.

Cache is a medium sized cache using sealable GLAD container. It's hidden well and if found please place it back the way you found it. Thank you and good luck on your hunt.
