The Giggle Bunch Cache Traditional Cache

rockymountainexplorers: I stopped by the cache this past weekend. It appears that the cache has certainly been taken either by a passerby or a curious little critter.

We are glad that this cache brought some fun and perhaps some giggles to many this past year. However, to give the area some rest we will not be replacing the cache at this time. Perhaps, you'll see a giggle bunch cache #2 show up in 2007.

Geocache Description:

This cache is located within the boundaries of Chatfield State Park and a small day fee is needed, but there are plenty of activities and picnic areas to enjoy; including a very large dog park on the north side of the dam. The cache was placed by the one and only "Giggle Bunch" and hope that it will bring you some fun as well.

The cache is on the south side of the State Park and parking is available at the "Platte River" parking area. Take the paved path west and down to the restrooms. For a more adventurous and scenic walk, take the dirt hiking trail to the right. For an slightly easier walk, continue on the paved path to the left. At one point they will meet and you'll need to take the dirt hiking trail the rest of the way. Take time to sit on one of two benches next to the Platte River along your way and enjoy sounds of nature.

The cache is a plastic camoflauged container, but should be relatively easy to find. We also started "Froggy TB" at this cache and on his way to new adventures. Hopefully he'll accomplish his goal. Good luck little buddy!" Enjoy!
