Geocache Description:


The cache is at around 8400 feet on a flat spot on Frost Peak. This area is more commonly known as Blue ridge and there is a campground with this name not far away. The cache is about 1 mile South East of the top of the ski lift from Mountain High East and just off the Pacific Crest Trail. You can drive almost to it in most vehicles during most of the year but it will probably be impossible to find the cache in the Winter as it will be under snow and you have to cross ski runs to get to it. The views can be spectacular and more great views if you travel a little farther North from the cache. I only left some AA batteries and a couple of Altadena Mountain Rescue Team stickers. Please leave the pencil sharpener. The container is a small ammo box so there is lots of room and it would be nice to leave stuff that could be handy for a hiker on the PCT.
